RFIs and logging

    The questions that come up during the course of construction, such as conflicts, inadequate information etc.. should always be clarified with the owner or the consultants in an RFI, Request for Information, in order to track things better. Whenever the RFI is answered, these should be logged in to the current set kept on the jobsite, at the exact location affected by the question, so that the field superintendents follow current information. Later during the job, the architect may choose to incorporate the answered RFIs into a new version of the drawings called an addendum.
