Toeboards for scaffolding

Toeboards must be installed to the scaffolds properly at the edges so that no material or tools or dirt will fall down the scaffold. This item can sometimes be skipped if the company doing this is not experienced so take precaution.

Also, during renovation of roof areas, even if there is no scaffolding required, if materials are likely to fall below, toeboards are still required as in the case of scaffolds. In some cases a metallic mesh are also used instead of wood
