Key issues to consider when writing RFIs:

The RFI form should have at these fields at a minimum:

    Date

    RFI number

    Question and answer fields

Answer by who and what date

    References

    Subject

These are the absolute minımum that should be in an RFI form.

Also, if you are not using a program like prolog, you will need to have a nice excel file organized so that all the questions can be found under separate tabs, and you should have a single log sheet which will pull the subject, question, date fields from all those sheets. This way you can search RFIs easily with the \”Find\” feature of excel from one single sheet
